Covid-19 Update

Following the recent announcement from the Government regarding the re-introduction of lock-down measures to combat the spread of Covid-19, and the latest directive from the Lawn Tennis Association (4th November), Woodchurch Tennis Club has now temporarily closed. Therefore the clubhouse is shut, the courts have been locked and neither are available to access until further notice. We hope that the restrictions will come to an end as scheduled, on Wednesday 2 December, but we will keep you updated on plans for tennis nearer the time.

Full statements from the LTA can be found on the LTA Website here

Wanted –  New players interested in joining Woodchurch Tennis Club with a view to playing in the local village tennis leagues

Woodchurch Tennis Club is a friendly village tennis club.

We have two good courts tucked away near the village green (and not far from the 6 Bells pub!) in the heart of the village.

We have around 50 playing members of all ages and standards.

Club nights are held every Thursday evening and everybody is welcome to come along and join in.

We enter two teams in the Ashford and District Tennis Summer and Winter Leagues, one mens and one mixed. We also run a small number of social tournaments and events each year.
